It's now time to begin to find practical applications for your new knowledge and begin integrating technology into your curriculum. Using your current adoption's teacher's manual in English Language Arts or another content area, find a particular lesson or unit on which you would like to focus.

Integrated Technology Lesson

On the left side of the chart, summarize in detail the lesson as you would teach it without the use of technology. Use the clues for each section and guides for the different parts of the lesson.

In the right hand column, explain how you might incorporate technology into the lesson. You must include at least one idea in each section of the lesson.

To demonstrate effective use of your time, explain which component of the lesson is now being taught with the use of technology.
